I have over 15 years of experience in software development, both hands-on and as a leader. I have worked in large organizations and at early stages. I love to get involved in the details and help my teams build from detailed insights to strategic improvements.

In my next role, I am looking to build or support an empowered team that is on a journey of continuous improvement, always challenging each other to build faster, with higher quality, and more sustainably.

Coach and consultant

  • Providing professional coaching support for engineering managers and leaders.
  • Designed and delivered bespoke programmes of support to accelerate the delivery in software teams through pairing, workshops, and individual coaching.
  • Designed and delivered a workshop on trunk-based development for the local engineering management community in Berlin.

Alcemy 2023 - 2024

Head of Engineering — Solutions

  • Led the engineering and data science department responsible for onboarding customers to Alcemy's platform.
  • Oversaw hiring and developed the organizational strategy for the area.
  • Developed a programme of work that reduced onboarding times for concrete customers by a factor of 3, and significantly reduced maintenance workload.
  • Worked with other engineering leaders to develop an organizational strategy for technology at Alcemy as a whole.

BCG Digital Ventures — 2019-2022

Venture CTO & Software Excellence Coach

  • Worked as founding CTO for new technology businesses in partnership with clients including WWF, Deutsche Telekom, and Engel & Volkers.
  • Developed and delivered internal training programmes for engineers and engineering leaders.
